As Bright as Day

I walked into the room

I saw them in dismay

There was her, with a man

I saw them bright as day

They danced across the floor

And held in close embrace

I saw them kiss ______Tears trickled down my face

They disappeared like a ghost

I do not know to where

I shouldn’t even think on this

I shouldn’t really care

I sit and hold my drink

And think I am forsaken

I saw them bright as day
